What To Expect During Your First Visit
At Sudbury Dental Excellence, we’re excited to welcome new patients and ensure you feel comfortable from the moment you arrive. We believe that a great first visit sets the foundation for a lasting relationship, and we are committed to providing a positive and stress-free experience. From personalized care to a welcoming environment, we strive to make your visit enjoyable while addressing your dental health needs.
Your first appointment will include a consultation where we review your oral health, explain any diagnoses, and discuss the best treatment options based on your individual needs. This initial visit is focused on understanding your concerns and creating a plan to help you achieve your healthiest smile.
What To Bring
- Referral slips and x-rays, if available
- A list of any medications you are currently taking
- Information about any allergies or medical conditions
- Your medical or dental insurance information for filing
If you’ve had x-rays taken within the last several months, please arrange for your previous dentist to forward them to us prior to your appointment. If that’s not possible, you may bring them with you to the visit.
What To Expect During Your Appointment
In some instances, treatment can be provided on the same day as your consultation. However, more complex cases or medical considerations may require a follow-up appointment for further evaluation and treatment. If you have any medical conditions that could affect your dental care, such as diabetes, high blood pressure, or artificial joints, please let our team know in advance.
For patients under the age of eighteen, a parent or guardian must accompany them to the appointment.
We are here to make sure your visit is as smooth and comfortable as possible. If you have any questions or need further assistance, we look forward to helping you achieve your best oral health!
